What is your name? Jacquelyn
Where did you grow up? I was raised right here in lower Middlesex County! I moved to the beach for several years but found my way back and started my family here!
Children: I have one daughter who recently turned 2 years old
What is your background? My full-time job is in Marketing and I love talking strategy and content
Why did you decide to bring The Local Moms Network to your town? After moving back here and having my daughter I was constantly looking for kid-friendly places and things to do. I thought it would be great to have all of that information in one place! I am just getting started, so if you have somewhere you think should definitely be seen here, please just reach out! There are also advertising opportunities for those trying to reach local moms and families! The mission is to give moms the gift of time. Must-try restaurant(s) (with and without kids): I love Cuban food so I am a huge fan of Esquina Latina in New Brunswick. With my daughter, we enjoy Arooga’s in East Brunswick (kids eat Free on Mondays and since she doesn’t eat much, that works nicely for us)
Place you love to get coffee: I never drink coffee (insert gasp here!) I know, I know…but I’m a big tea drinker. I can’t seem to pass up a Vanilla Chai Tea from Dunkin Donuts or the Pink Drink from Starbucks.
Favorite stores (to shop for yourself and kids): I’m definitely an “Amazon Prime” Mom, but I shop for her at Carter’s in Matawan when there are good deals, TJMaxx, Burlington, and Target.
Where to entertain the entire family indoors/outdoors: We have been loving the spray park in Monroe! We are lucky enough to have a pool on these 100 degree days! We also love the free reading and activites at the Old Bridge Public Library.
