What you can expect at the County Fair
A line for parking
I know this isn’t the most positive way to start out the list but I feel like if you mentally prepare to wait to park, it won’t be so bad – added bonus if it’s quick!
We went on a weeknight and it wasn’t bad at all, but requires some patience.
To pay with cash
Make sure to stop at an ATM before heading over there. It is a cash only entrance and I’m sure your kids are going to want food and rides and…all the things.
Animals
There are animals of all sizes to check out! Ride a pony, see a baby pig, feed a goat – smell all of the smells while you’re at it (lol)
My daughter LOVED riding on the pony – first timer! She was afraid to the other times we have attempted it and they were so nice letting her feel it out first – shout out to All American Ponies!
Food
Mmmmm there were a lot of good choices! (if you’re not worried about calories of course) I highly recommend the chicken quesadillas from Gourmet Catering and BBQ – it was so full of chicken, onions, peppers, and cheese – def worth it. #notsponsored
Rides
The usual carnival favorites!
There are also fireworks happening on Sunday!
Overall, we stayed a couple of hours and got to entertain our daughter, have a night out together and have some dinner. They set it up with a good flow of traffic and it seemed under control. If you are able to get there, have a great time!!!
